Happy Sunday!! Enjoy!!!

When you’ve been blogging and taking pictures every day for almost six years, you finally realize that you need to clean “house”!!  But I did find some fun shots and some wonderful memories, SO, I thought that I would share a few with you today!! Hope you are all enjoying a beautiful, fun weekend!! And remember --

The poetry of the earth is never dead. ~John Keats

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin. ~William Shakespeare

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~Khalil Gibran

Splendid shots Sylvia. You just made me realise that this month I have been blogging for seven years. No wonder I needed a little rest.
Keep cool, We are enduring some real cold. I don't mind dry cold and snow but this wet cold chills one through and through.

I'm glad you found these to share with us. It's rewarding to go through the archives every once in a while, isn't it?

These are so beautiful, Sylvia. I'm having a quiet weekend because it's so horribly hot and muggy. I hope you've got cooler weather. Have a great week ahead.

I'm glad you shared these after you found them.... wonderful pictures all.. I'd love to be resting on that bench after a nice walk along the path!

(And if you want to come and clean up my photo files after you are through with yours I would welcome it.... I just don't know what to do with all of mine.)

When I first saw that last image I thought the bench was a crocodile! I think I need a cup of tea!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
